Decompile Crystal Reports RPT files-

I need someone to write a utility to open any RPT file and lists all the objects, formulas, page formating, report design elements, data sources, command objects, etc, contained in that RPT file. All the contents and objects need to be inspected in detail and documented -eg a formula needs to be listed by it's name and also the whole content of the formula itself needs to be listed. It is absolutely imperative that none of Crystal Reports API's or SDK are used in the FINAL deliverable. You can use whatever method works for you in order to determine the contents and structure of the RPT. You can use the programming language of your choice, however I have a preferrence for VB.NET or VB6. In order to win the bid I need you to provide a proof of concept or prototype like a sample exe that can list the first elements of any RPT file (eg 1st formula, page width, 1st data connection, etc) I will remove the guarantee requirement for the qualified bidder. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform Windows any no Crystal Reports DLL's or components of any sort.
