Yes there will be minor changes in connection string and queries. Some functions does not works in the same ways in mysql and mssql

Hi! I have extensively developed ASP.NET applications exclusively against MS SQL server. On occasion I maintain MySQL databases for enterprise systems. There are free tools that provides this conversion that support MSSQL compatibility, particularly effective for schema conversions (tables and views). Identify any stored procedures and/or functions that uses database specific features, then convert to a functionally equivalent query if need be. Ideally, there are no embedded SQL in the .NET code-behind. If you're using DSN, that can be updated from Data Source Administrator panel in Windows.
