Data driven Android application

We are looking for a talented Android Application Developer who will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of our mobile app.     About the project: The project is for a Android app and involves selecting meals from a database of meals, entering data and running data through a calculator to provide visualizations. There is a database recording meal selection information for each user. The backend should allow the administrator to post advertisements. Both front- and back- end development is required.   Brief Description:  1. User signup/signin and account setup  2. User selects a meal from a database of meals and nutrition information (we will provide this data). Note: The selection of a meal can be achieved by one of 3 modes: selecting from a displayed meal list, querying the database of meals or scanning/entering a 2D code. 3. Each time a meal is selected it is recorded in a user history database. 4. A nutritional history is calculated and presented graphically to show the historical trend (details to be provided upon freelancer selection). 5. At subsequent signins, a homepage displays a graphical user nutritional history and enables the user to select additional meals.  6. User can set goals and view goal progress (details to be provided upon freelancer selection). 7. User can compare their nutrition histories from previous time periods (ie. Week to week or month to month comparisons).   Interested parties are asked to respond with a proposal that includes an hourly rate and/or a flat rate project fee.    Your responsibilities:    - Review and perform a technical analysis of requirements   - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Focus on UI/UX per iterative discussion with our team  - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements  - Contribute ideas for making the application(s) better and easier to use   Your qualifications in addition to technical requirements for the project:    - Fluency in English  - A work style that is extremely detail oriented  - A complete Freelancer profile  - References or an established Freelancer reputation preferred  - To win this job, you have to show us one or more data driven mobile web apps you have built with data visualization. We are looking to select someone who can be available to work with us on other projects   How we work: Our projects are based on 10 or 20 hour increments of work performance. Each 10 or 20 hour increment will undergo review by our team for approval and before proceeding to subsequent increments.
