I'm moving my website to a new domain so...
I'm want to have a custom htaccess file designed that will help make the transition smooth.
This should be a very simple job.
Here is what I want to accomplish...
1. The old domain set a cookie for returning visitors. If a returning visitor tries to access the old domain then I want to pass that cookie on to the new domain and redirect them to the approach page on the new domain. In other words, I want to redirect my returning visitors to the new domain but also make sure their cookie get's passed so it doesn't look like they are a new visitor to the new domain
2. 301 redirect from old domain to new domain
3. Maintain all SEO rankings in the process from the old domain
You must have prior experience with cookie handling and htaccess.
Please PM me with how you plan on accomplishing step 1.
Payment will be made once the code is implemented and verified to work along with the transfer of SEO.
