I use Acrobat adobe 9 pro to OCR scanned PDF files. For some reason the system fails and stops the sequence if I I try to write over the existing file. To fix this I am saving the docs as a new PDF with "ZZ " (Z,Z, SPACE) added to the front of every competed file. I need someone to write some JavaScript that I can use to run a batch sequence to remove the "zz " form the front of every file name. I am guessing this should be very basic.

I'm a US born and based software developer with 15 years+ of VBA excel macro development experience as well as other languages. I would do the rename in VBA if it were me. I just actually completed my first Freelancer.com gig of macro work in Excel similar to yours and the client is very happy it seems. It's straight forward. I'm sure I'm not the least expensive, but I have learned that doing it correctly the first time is the way to go. By the way, please notice that I do not ask for any initial payment.
