Hello and thank you to all reading this post. What I am trying to do is get a script that will align my “fake conformation box” with the “conformation box” generated by a users browser (ie,ff and chrome). Obviously I don’t know everyone’s browser box size, which is the reason I need a script. I have created a working demo, but it only works for my browser resolution size of 1600x900 and of course I kept adjusting my “fake conformation box” until it aligned correctly. There are three different browser, three different conformation boxes and three different locations for the boxes. If someone could help with that, that would be great. To make things even simpler, you can provide code individually for each browser and I will figure out how to redirect the user depending on the browser. Basically I did all the work, just need someone to help auto align my “fake conformation box” perfectly with the “conformation box” generated by a users browser (ie,ff and chrome). The “conformation box” generated by a browser is positioned based on the size of the window, not a users screen resolution, just so you know. I would like the script written in javascript, as you can see my examples are written in javascript and I plan to take the script generated by whoever makes it and add it to pages I made. PLEASE look at my examples, in my examples are the exact way I want it to run other then the messed up alignment obviously. If someone could edit my examples to get it to work correctly that would be more ideal!!! and make it easier for me to apply it to my pages, since I am not a coder. I made the example using wysiwyg. You can even download wysiwg if you want; they have a free trail if you think that will help with the coding. All coders interested bid and drop me a message asap. I think this should be pretty easy so someone come get this quick cash.
Examples:
Chrome: [login to view URL]
Fire fox: [login to view URL]
Internet Explorer: [login to view URL]
**All examples use the latest version of the browsers and to activate the script mouserover the top portion of the page. There is a transparent floating layer that triggers everything onmouseover **
Don’t hesitate to ask questions, input and etc and thank you for your time.
Hi,
I have worked in using javascript for positioning confirmation/alert boxes with in user browser. I can fix the code for you in a day if you can allow me to work on this.
Problem approach:
I would get the browser window position and size using javasript properties like [login to view URL],[login to view URL] etc.
Then for each type of browser study the position of the browser generated alert. Possible positions would be like top center, top left, center center etc..
Based on the position/size of browser and the position size of confirmation box , I would align it for each type of browser.
You can reach me at 210-464-4890 to discuss further.
Thanks!
