Hello and thank you for the opportunity to apply for your "Furniture Design" project. I am a Certified SolidWorks Professional with over 12 years experience in industrial, mechanical, and consumer product and electronics design, injection mold design, rapid prototyping, reverse engineering, and designing for manufacturing. I am certified in the following design disciplines; Injection Mold Part Design, Sheet Metal Part Design, Machined Part Design, Cast Part Design, Platings and Coatings for Product Development, and Extrusion Part Design. I am currently using SolidWorks versions 2010 and 2011. I am also very good with creating renderings and animations utilizing the tools within SolidWorks. These are some of the industries I have designed product for; 1. Transportation/Automotive 2. Sporting Goods 3. Oil 4. Aerospace 5. Consumer 6. Shoe 7. Recreation/Outdoors 8. Hobby/Toy I am considered an expert in the use of CAD and am capable of capturing or creating just about anything with the software and have no problem working with the simplest to the most complex of jobs. I am often approached to take on the task of "validating" the design of others to insure it was done correctly and that everything within SolidWorks is prepared properly and that everything is "manufacture" ready. It is because of my experience and creativity that Drew Tech, a leader in their industry, chose me to redesign their product line. I successfully handled the project for Drew Tech from concept all the way through to manufacturing. I have worked on many other projects as well, including the position of Senior Design Engineer for a company developing small UAV's for light payload and surveillance capabilities.
