I would love to work on a children's book. I have a 2.5 year old son, so have been exposed to plenty of styles of illustration that appeal to children. I feel like children's books are all that I read these days, which I certainly don't mind! I prefer traditional media, but also have a drawing tablet to create illustrations on the computer if that suits you better. I don't mind plenty of communication and exchanging of sketches and ideas to achieve what you are looking for. I typically do commissioned paintings for clients and like to keep in touch throughout the whole months long process. I graduated with a BFA in studio art in 2010. My son starts preschool this upcoming week, which is why I've recently joined Freelancer. I now have a few hours each day to work in my field for the first time in 3 years, which I am extremely excited about. I hope your illustration might be the beginning of steady work for me.
