We are currently putting together a Hebrew reading course. Part of the course is familiarising the students with the Hebrew letters and vowels. We have devised several associations for the letters that make it easier for the student to memorise the letter and its sound.
One way of reinforcing these associations is to have the letter represented in a cartoon which depicts an image which help explain the and remember the letter.
We have a few cartoons like this already, however we want to expand the set to include as many letters as possible. In the attached document the letters are explained and we would need cartoons done for those letters referencing those explanations, there are however a handful of letters that we cannot think of a suitable cartoon image and in these cases you (the illustrator) are invited to put your ideas forward for an idea for those letters
What we will require
1) All letters with descriptions are to be cartoonised
2) All letters that do not have an idea associated with them require a suggestion from the illustrator, if the illustrator is unable to provide a suitable idea then that letter might not be cartoonised.
3) All letters will need to be in a format that will allow them to be resized, both bigger and smaller without any loss of quality
4) Each image will be required to have a copyright watermark on it
5) All source files will be required so that if we need to regenerate the images with different copyright information at a later stage we can **(easily)**
The images will be presented online and in print and as such will be required to be able to be saved in a small file size to be able to render quickly on the web and when they are printed in A4 size they will need to be sharp and clear.
