Childrens book illustrator

Hello, Here’s the concept. Asking a parent to put into words the emotions they have gone through since the moment they set eyes on their child is simply impossible, there is no way to say what the heart truly feels when it comes to our children. It begins with raw joy, a renewed sense of life’s purpose. Then as you watch them quickly grow, the fear sets in. The dangers of this world and the unavoidable reality that one day your little one’s heart will be broken, they could become jaded by others, and ignore how magnificent this opportunity called life really is. I have created a series of children’s books devoted to this journey. Beginning with Rain Baby, a book for parents to read to their child and cherish throughout their life as a remembrance of the day they entered this world, of their youth, and the lesson that no matter how rough the waves in life become, we are the captains of our own destiny. The other books in the series include Snow Baby, Wind Baby, and Sun Baby. Each pertaining to the weather outside when the child was born using analogies of the season to tie in life lessons and the hopes and dreams a parent has for their child. I am a first-time author who has never been published. I am someone who has had an intense passion for writing throughout my life and now truly feel I have created a series of books that people will love and that will bring out emotions in the reader that we all long to delve into that rejuvenates our soul. I worked as a social worker after graduating from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. My world turned upside down when I gave birth to my son. Writing these books has allowed me to really look at life and how little time we have on this earth, and that it is important for parents to be just as motivated to follow their dreams as they are for their children to pursue theirs.
