Voltage Drop Calculator via web. 1. User select type of phase; Single phase or three phase 2. User select voltage; (120V, 208V, 240V,477V) 3. User select allowable % voltage drop 4. User select size of wire. Each size has fixed resistance and reactance which the values must been displayed(refer appendix) 5. User enter value in the text box for (current, length). 6. Click "calculate". The value of voltage drop will appear after click "calculate".If selected allowable % voltage drop more than value of voltage drop calculated; display "voltage too high." Else; "can use this size". Using two formula; Single phase = 2*current*length[(resistance*0.85) + (reactance*0.5268)] Three phase = (sqrt)3*current*length[(resistance*0.85) + (reactance*0.5268)]
