Beauty Leverage is exactly what it says on the tin. It is the use of my borrowed skills, experience and time to increase the potential of a beauty product manufacturer's business. Many beauty product manufacturers perform contract manufacturing for the big brands but wish that they could create a brand and take their products directly to market themselves. They have a huge skills gap which means that this is impossible and they always end up giving away significant margin to the companies that they manufacture for and who make brands happen. Beauty Leverage picks up the value chain where the manufacturer stops; it gives a manufacturer's active ingredient a specific go to market plan with clear objectives and timescales. My heritage is in the world of product distribution and brand building. Beauty Leverage is a process at the heart which is the pressure I can apply to a manufacturer's product to it to multiply its effect. I understand the passion, intellectual property and the quality of products and using the Beauty Leverage concept I bring all of these together to create a strong beauty, spa or wellness brand and go to market strategy. There are quite a couple of different definitions for the word "leverage," especially when it relates to financial matters. Generally, it could be any one of the following: Reinvesting borrowed money or multiplying your own efforts by investing in the effort of others. A "lever" allows you to lift something that you would not normally be able to lift - it increases your ability and allows you to accomplish tasks easier than you normally would. This is basically what financial leverage is about - it gives you a way to accelerate your quest to financial freedom. Or in my case, it gives a manufacturer the freedom to build a brand and go to market directly.
