Create a PSD logo for a video game company

I'm looking for someone who has experience with logo design to redesign the logo for a video game company called Game Thingie. There is currently already a logo, but it is poorly designed and very simple (see attachment). I'm looking for someone who can take inspiration from this logo and create something better and more professional only by using that logo, and taking a look at the websites of the company (which will be provided upon acceptance of job) I would like bidders to provide a link to some examples of their previous work. To up your chances of being hired, sending a message with some ideas or a motivation why you should be hired is a great idea. The budget is about 50dollars. If you eventually come up with something we're very satisfied about, a bonus will be given of at least 10%. Do not bid ridiculous amounts, since it's not a very complicated job.
