Commercial gas engineer

Determine water systems types and water drainage systems.  Determine boiler system types and heating plan systems  Coordinate with site supervisors.  Select all materials needed for installation and maintenance including type and size of pipes.  Install pipes and fittings (copper and PVC) surface or flush installations.  Install valves and fittings.  Install kitchen, bathroom, shower room, WC suites and make final connection.  Test pipe systems for leaks before system filling.  Perform scheduled maintenance and record keeping.  Identify the correct tool or specialist equipment for the task at hand.  Install hot and cold water storage systems, repair water heaters, replace immersion heaters.  Install boilers including flues and safety pipe-work  Install hot water systems and safety pipe-work (including pressurized systems)  Ensure equipment to be installed as manufacturer’s recommendation.  Maintain hot and cold water systems.  Maintain heating/boiler systems  Maintain and service boilers and gas appliances within qualification scope  Install, disconnect domestic appliances (washing machines/dish washers).  Clear blockages (waste systems/drainage).
