Analyze some Data

We have two data bases and we are trying to lookup the first 5 letters of the "Tam code" field followed by -1 etc, for example ATLAN-1 , one of the databases has a longer "Tam Code" field but to tie the two together we want to pair up using first 5 letters of the TAM code followed by -1,-2 , or wherever it is at the moment , then want to use the "customer listing database" and add the corresponding "effective date" from the "ALL DATA" list so that we have one full database with the corresponding effective date on with the rest of the data on that spreadsheet (Customer listing database) -see instructions and screen shots of data attached.
