Dear fellows, I have the following problem. I have a dataset, on a textfile. However, I meet a problem when I transfer the data into Excel. There is a lot of decimal numbers. When it reach a integer number i.e. 79., the output will be 79. So my matlab cannot read 79. and even Excel cannot (of course) not add 79. + 79. What I would like is a cleaning, so the output will be 79 and not 79. If you have any suggestions to improve the raw data let me know. It is bid/ask spread data.

I have the Matlab / .NET Programming (Visual Studio) and of course Excel knowledge. I have done data processing for MNC's in the past as I am software developer by profession. Let m eknow more details, I will help you in getting your task completed. also the bidding amount will change if this requires me to develop some software or converter for you. But I can pretty much be flexible and get your task completed even if takes a couple of days & will be covered by this job itself.
