Audio Recorded Interview Transcription

I am a London trained transcriber and proofreader currently based in South Africa. I have worked as a full time freelancer from home mainly for UK companies for the last three years transcribing a wide variety of different projects, these include financial reporting, TV and radio shows, focus groups, one on one interviews, Court transcripts, plus lots more. One hour of audio would take me approximately three hours, depending of course on the quality. I am, of course, happy to provide a test file. To whom it may concern, I wish to apply for this post. In my current employment as a call centre operative, as well as my main duty of answering incoming calls, I type up letters and documents using various programmes and also take and type up the minutes of our monthly team meetings. In my previous employment as a receptionist, some of my duties were creating letters; data entry, audio typing, creating documents and minute and message taking. I currently can type 75 words per minute. I am extremely reliable; work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and have a keen eye for attention to detail. I hope you will consider me.
