I need to build Nest source code with Coverity tool.
Coverity is a static analyzer tool that finds the bugs and vulnerabilities. I try to do it but I had some issues and I'm very busy these days. If you have enough experience in Linux, C, and embedded software, you shouldn't have any problem.
Go to Coverity website and download their tool:

Download the source code for Nestlab:

Build the Nestlab software using the Coverity tool and submit the result.
Feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks
Hi,
I can do that in less than 24 hours; I ve experience (at my full time job) running coverity to find out error in our firmware (which are mainly linux drivers);
so i can give you the result in a couple of hours if you want.
Contact me back if interested
of course you only release payment after job is done.
Cheers
I have some experience tweaking and cross compiling linux kernel/binutils( busybox based ones mostly). this would make me a good candidate for this exercise.
Steps I propose:
1) locate the correct version of the codesourcery g++ cross compiler( if not make the build work with a different version of the compiler)
- this is going to require some mucking around with make files
2) attempt a normal build
3) check if the compiler suite is compatible with coverity builds and that cross compilation is not really a problem
- i am hoping this will just work ( otherwise I am in for a world of pain and delay )
4) attempt a coverity based build
Please send me a PM if you think i missed something.
