Application "Show me the Due Dates!"

IMPORTANT: Final Application Buttons need to be translated into UTF-8 encoding characters (greek) which I will provide when English version is present. In this job I need a desktop application for a secetary (she speaks only greek) that will use to keep track of her clients (names, telephones, etc.). Moreover she will keep track when is their car insurance due. She can enter a tag to the search box and find all customers with that tag. For example if she want to find a person named John Smith, she can enter the whole name or just what she knows from it. The application will return all John Smiths in the database (or all John's or all Smith's). Same use for telephone numbers and the other info (for example all telephones that start with 310). Also, and most important she needs to know when is the clients insurance due. So, how will she find that out? An acceptable/easy way is to have her see all expiration dates due in a month of a certain year. For instance, she will select a month and a year, and she will she all the due insurances in a listed way perhaps. Someone would suggest that he can create a calendar and show in the calendar all clients that have due dates. I think that is not practical because of the packed data in the boxes. A list of names will do fine. Also, by entering a month and a year from the past (for example Jan 2001) Alice will see who had due dates that month. Machine Specifications: - Run on Windows PC - Can be written in any language. (as long is installable or portable without the requirement of extra software, if you must use whatsoever a platform to deliver a base for the application then please explain so. Freeware only.) - Microsoft Access is an exception. The machine will have installed Microsoft Access 2007. So, you can use that platform if needed. Application Specifications: - Use a local database to save data ( NOT an online application ) - Ability to backup Entries (perhaps by saving a specific database folder, no need to have an actual button that backs up) - Ability to delete an old entry - Ability to Create New entry - Ability to Edit an old Entry - Ability to Search for an Entry by any of the tags filled by user (mentioned below) - Ability to enter these tags to customers: First Name, Last name, Work Tel #, Home Tel. #, Home Address, (City, Street #) Work Address, (City, Street #) Social Security Number, Insurance Organization, Date of purchase of Insurance (format: dd/mm/yyyy) Amount Paid Insurance Expiration Date (format: dd/mm/yyyy) (perhaps a couple more tags.. not sure yet if they exist) If you read this briefing please respond with the name of the secretary in the beggining of your bid.
