AUTOLISP FOR NESTING (OPTIMIZING) CUT LENGTHS INTO STOCK LENGTHS

What I'm looking for is an Optimization (Nesting) AUTOLISP. 1. I have supplied an autolisp file that doesn't exactly work very efficiently (it maybe of some help/otherwise disregard) 2. I have also supplied a text file of one that does work (untested) it may be of some help... 3. We want to supply cut lengths to the AUTOLISP program in the form of a text file called "[login to view URL]" (which I've supplied). PT01 3200 PT02 1200 PT03 4280 etc etc (this filename stays the same for each project and is located in "C:\MIKE\[login to view URL]" the amount of posts inside the file will vary and so will the cut lengths 4. The standard stock length we use is 6500MM long. to make it easier "DO NOT ALLOW FOR CUTTING BLADE WIDTH in formula" 5. I need the Autolisp program to return the Cut Lengths supplied eg. put into (nested) lengths with the minimum amount of waste possible (this is the GOAL). 6. And these cutting files are then to be stored in individual TEXT FILES called [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc etc. (I have supplied a mock up copy of an entire project [login to view URL] thru to CUT06,TXT for example only) 7. These [login to view URL] files are to be overwritten each time the program runs 8. The program is to be written in Autolisp and called "[login to view URL]" 9. I have also supplied FORM LAYOUT that this program will be used on, just incase you needed it. 10. I have also put in some PDF forms that I have marked up showing how it all works so you, the programmer, knows what is happening. 11. Left Over WASTE - if the left over waste from the cutting, is greater than 480MM then it will need to get its own name ie. W01 1030, which you will see in [login to view URL] this W01/1030 will need to go into the file [login to view URL] and added (append) to as new projects come along. ([login to view URL] has been supplied as an example as well) 12. If the left over waste is less than 480mm then it gets called "NIL" as you can see in the file [login to view URL] (NIL 200) 13. So, all I am wanting is an autolisp program called [login to view URL], it will read "C:\MIKE\[login to view URL]" and return "C:\MIKE\[login to view URL]" "C:\MIKE\[login to view URL]" "C:\MIKE\[login to view URL]" etc etc and so on... 14. [login to view URL] has a few lisp routine in it that someone could possibly use 15. [login to view URL] is the one that doesn't work Thats all. Cheers Mike
