Create .stl file from 2D drawing

I AM MECHANICAL ENGINEER WITH FIRST CLASS. I AM EXPERIENCED IN SOLIDWORKS , DRAFTING , MODELLING , MOTION, SIMULATION, ANIMATION AND PHOTOWORKS. I AM USING THIS SOLIDWORKS FROM PAST TEN YEARS. I HAVE DESIGNED MORE THAN 100 PRODUCTS IN HEAVY MACHINERY INDUSTRIES. I HAVE CREATED VARIOUS 2D DRAWINGS, 3D ANIMATIONS FROM MODELS, SIMULATION LIKE STATIC, DYNAMIC FREQUENCY , USER MANUALS . I have engineering experience in design and modelling of mrchanical parts.

Good Day, I'm a designer with 9+ years experience using CAD and 5+ years experience in Industry. I can complete this work without any issue. I would say would you mind me suggesting using a standard thread for the joiners and end caps as machinists will find this much simpler. Also If you're getting the designs made by machinists I'd also recommend part drawings from them to work from as well as 3D files. Re the knurling you generally specify that on the engineering drawing, for 3D printing you wouldn't achieve a decent knurl unless you increase the width of the groove. I'd be able to complete the work for you tomorrow (09/01/15 GMT). Regards, Rory
