I am a member of a small startup based out of Annapolis MD. I have a BS in economics from the US Naval Academy, an MBA from the Univ of Maryland and am qualified as a nuclear engineer. Prior to my move to startups, I was a management consultant with a top tier consulting firm. For content writing projects like this, I employ a four-step process to best enable a collaborative approach so that we are best able to tell the story you want to tell.
Step 1: Conduct initial assessment —I conduct an initial assessment by asking a series of questions to capture inputs that best tell the story. Output: Discussion notes provided for accuracy. ~3 days
Step 2: Establish Blueprint — Based on the inputs, I provide a blueprint of the sections discussed (e.g., History broken down by time periods, cultures etc.) Output: Approved blueprint. ~3 days
Step 3: Rough Draft Review-With an approved blueprint, I build out the sections discussed into a draft for review in track changes. Output: Rough Draft. ~10 days
Step 4: Final Draft Review-Based on inputs provided from the rough draft, I address any concerns raised and adjust language to best meet the needs of the company. Output: Final Draft. ~2 days
If final draft is acceptable, I’ll provide as a “smooth” copy. I firmly believe that by designing detailed blueprints, I can help enable changes that best protect this key investment to your company’s success!
