I need an ILDA laser show for a single song. 2 min 28 seconds.
The song is called "Steel" and is not pop music, but more contemporary "art-music". The song is attached.
Here is the story idea:
The attached eps file is vector of a running tuba.
The animation should describe this instrument being forged. I imagine that the song starts with the tuba being just pieces and figures. Then, during the song it is being bent, assembled and forged into the final result. Not necessarily by people, but by itself, or trial and error...
You have great artistic freedom, but here are some guidelines:
- The animation must contain the attached eps-graphics
- It should be using RGB colors
- It must be timed to the music and finish exactly together with the song
- It should also contain abstract geometrical figures, patterns, shapes and colors that helps the story and visual expression
- The animation must be possible to play back on this laser: [login to view URL]
- The animation should be ran from an SD card in the laser, not from a computer
- Must be complete by April 17.
- I have little experience with ILDA and lasers so I need some guidance on how to transfer the animation to the SD card
Before we start, I need review some of your earlier work, as well as check compatibility with my laser.
I will run the song from a Mac computer that also controls DMX in real time, in case this is useful.
