Hi I'm a South African, Afrikaans-speaking translator with extensive experience in the South African publishing industry. (I'm currently based in Guatemala.) My translations are accurate and flow well so that the texts come across as having been written in Afrikaans from the start. My rate for translations depends on the type of text but is generally R0.04 per word (that's 40c per word) for a straight-forward text without too many technical terms, translated from English.
