I am running a test project to see how much pension data I can collect from company accounts. In the test project I have a selection of around financial 30 annual reports in PDF format. For each PDF I need a freelancer to search through the document looking for data relating to pension costs or contributions, extracting an couple of numbers for each PDF. For example I have attached the 1998 financial statements for Marks and Spencer Plc. If you scroll to page 59 of the PDF you will note that they state that their pension cost was £111.1m and in the previous year 1997 was £86.5m. I need to extract this data for each firm. Every PDF should have pension cost (or pension contribution) data for that year and the year before if in fact the company has a pension scheme. This project should take around 1 hour. If the test project is successful, i have a bigger collection of around 3000 PDFs that I need analysed in the same way so this has the potential to lead to more work
