We are new to Quickbooks and have had have expenses listed in Excel as of now. We would like you to input attached Excel file in to Quickbooks. Of course, it is important that you add it correctly and that you configure Quickbooks so that: - VAT is registered correct for all expenses. - Expenses come in various currencies. This has to be configured. - Make sure that each expense is registered under correct Account.

Hi, I am a QuickBooks expert. I worked with Intuit as a Subject Matter Expert for 6 years. I am also an online consultant for the software. I looked at your excel file and I have the following points for you to consider: 1. Only a single currency can be assigned per vendor list, if you have a vendor where you use different currencies to purchase or pay, the vendor needs to be entered several times for each currency. 2. Excel files containing transactions such as yours can't be put in QuickBooks automatically, it can be converted into an IIF file but it may cause damage to your company file if done repeatedly and mistakes may be difficult to fix once the file is imported. If you have QuickBooks 2014 and later versions the Add Multiple Transactions feature can be used to simply copy and paste from Excel. We just need to modify the Excel file to fit the columns in the QB page. 3. QuickBooks does not track VAT or purchase taxes but we can devise a loan account and use it to hold your VAT on each transaction. 4. Recording Fixed Assets are set-up differently from Expense transactions. These and I may have more suggestions for this project for the success of your business if you will just let me know how you want QuickBooks to work for you. I'd be very happy to help. Thank you.
