Applied Topic During the module we covered five ‘topic lectures’. These provided a brief overview of a number of issues which can be analysed using the ‘toolbox’ of economics. The assignment for the module is to take one of these topics and analyse it in further depth. The Topics: 1. Examine the transition of the countries of Eastern Europe from command to market economies and the impact of the transition on residents of those countries and members other European states . 2. “The UK housing market is actually made up of a number of closely related markets.” Discuss. 3.
