You have to write a Cover Letter for this position: E-Learning Technologis Main purpose of the role: To provide high quality e-learning support to the members of staff and students at the London School of Business and Management. The E-Learning Technologist will work as part of the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CELT) team contributing towards enhancing and extending the available teaching/learning services. The role will also include training and supporting students and members of staff in using the available e-learning services. The E-Learning Technologist will work closely with the IT department and the Registry. The Institution is using a range of external as well as internally maintained educational technologies. These include Moodle as well as Blackboard Virtual Learning Environments. Microsoft Office 365, TurnitIn, Video-Capture tools, and the VitalSource eBook platform are also heavily used across the Institution. he candidates should be experienced in working with a range of systems (e.g. virtual learning environments; lecture capture/screen casting; VitalSource Bookshelf; online assessment tools; web-based technologies). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are particularly necessary due to the need for collaboration with other departments. Experience in organising and delivering training, seminars or workshops is also necessary. The successful candidate should be able to successfully manage and keep a record of the tasks and activities and contribute to the design and implementation of complex projects. .............................................................................
