My hope is to have someone build a small streaming media server I can watch and/ or listen to on my iPad, iPhone. It is key that the Pi runs on 12v power with an on/off switch for when I am not utilizing the server. Hi All I need to develop a device that can communicate with a PLC via Modbus RTU (Board-rate 19200, 8N1, ID xx) over a serial cable. The unit must read the data in seconds (1 -60 seconds depending on the data) from the PLC and store the data on t self.
