I have a file folder which contains an .exe file which usually runs in dos. Once it is open, then it request a filename and after being provided with that, it runs in hidden mode and generate an output file. All of the files: .exe (program), .dat (input data), and .out (output file) are located in the same folder. Now, I want to write a .bat file which runs this .exe and passes automatically the .dat file into it as the input needed. I have tried to do it, but some problems came out...and it seems you need to open the exe directly to get it running and generating the input.
