A digital card was designed to celebrate 8 March International Women’s Day for all the women across the world and especially our women customers and partners. This design, aiming at highlighting women’s struggle for freedom and equality, had a transitional style between different shades of pink and purple to resemble hope. The design was completed with female figures in white colour representing optimism and a feminine symbol created by bringing together the keywords related to 8 March and the women’s struggle.

On 8 March International Women’s Day in 2016, there was a worldwide hashtag: #PledgeForParityThe design to promote the hashtag campaign on social media was aimed to raise women’s voice. The city’s sounds have been given ear to for social media visuals and poster designs of the ‘City Picnic’, one of the organisations by the initiative.For this project, while visualising Istanbul, which is often referred to as ‘chaotic’, harmony within the chaos was the focus. The project, which achieved a moving design by using a large colour palette, had the most important symbols of the Istanbul silhouette. In order to reflect the city’s multi-identity structure, a combination of different colours and textures was used, and simple typography was preferred for slogans and text messages in the design. Thus, the naive and sincere spirit of the initiative was reflected in the project.
