The client had returned to his homeland after 4years of working as a chef in Ireland. Now, he just wanted a simple, minimal retreat to enjoy cooking with his partner. The organic shape of the plot was an inspiration which led to the contrast of linearity as seen in the building. Plot Size - 1.2 Hectare Budget - 430,000 Dollars Completion Date - 11 months Role - Turnkey

Group Housing is a cluster of one BHK houses located in Zirakpur, Punjab, India. The project is located at a place that was the aftermath of heavy deforestation. The area used to be a dense forest before and now the hardscape has overshadowed softscape. To promote the sense of green lifestyle, the concept of the project was simple (image below), to keep the footprint of the building minimum and letting the softscape dominate the hardscape for a change.
