Vizze is an event planning and event photo sharing app for Android and iOS.

I developed the Android app that allows users to plan events, invite friends and take/edit/upload and tag photos.

It uses Amazon S3 for the backend and communicates via JSON.

Wupiti! is an Android and iOS app that lets you share a moment with your friends and in exchange it gives you instant benefits.

I am working closely with the company behind Wupiti! to constantly introduce new features to improve the application over time.

Some of the latest features include:

1. Push notifications to allow interaction with the users and let them know about new features and content in the app.

2. Geolocation and geofence support for letting the users know when they are around a location that they can use the app and get benefits and therefore increasing user interaction with the app.

3. Improved data synchronisation and storage to make the app even faster and more battery efficient resulting in a better user experience.

Wupiti! for Android

This was a personal project, designed and developed for the Android platform, keeping the Android design guidelines in mind.

It is optimized for phone and tablets and also supports Google Wear.

I personally designed and developed the app and the Ruby on Rails backend for data storage.

It uses the Android location and mapping APIs, including the Android Fused Location, Google Maps and Geofencing APIs to allow the user to select a location by tapping on the map, and get a reminder when he gets within range to the location, as well as normal, time-based reminders.

The app is monetized through Admob advertisements and it also offers an in-app purchase option to remove all ads.

Focusing on simplicity and featuring an intuitive design and unique features like location-based reminders, the app's focus is ease of use, hoping to allow the user to manage their task lists while spending the least time possible in the app itself.
