I am looking for an ongoing relationship with a reputable company that is willing to establish such a relationship, and provide years of support. this description is somewhat vague intentionally. to provide some background, this concept is a business idea that a close friend and i have been penciling out for many years, and we have been looking for the funds to launch this. we have some funds already, but we need to determine where we stand, and we want to start looking for a company to work with. we are not looking for employees, or to share profits.
we will pretty much work with the developers, with us acting as the "architects" and the chosen team as the "contractors" to make it all work. we both have experience programming with coldfusion (call it the lazy mans programming language, but we have made some interesting stuff with it).
the frontend:
we are looking to have a web based erp + crm using php, mysql, and ajax designed. This software must be modular (for the addition of new features/main modules), scalable (so we can cluster/scale to multiple machines). it also has to communicate the vendors systems, whether it be via web services or file transfers.
we have a ***feature filled roadmap in place***, but for beginners, the erp + crm system is the base. all the other features, which will rely on other technologies, will utilize the base erp + crm system.
the backend:
we plan on selling this web based system to different companies, in a specific industry. as such, we need a backend that is capable of licensing + billing companies in different manners (such as per user, transaction, monthly, etc).
