We are building one app launcher that will have many apps in it, we are working hard to adjust all apps to fit it and we need automation to scale our manual work, what we do is: if you know a way this can be done using automation please reach me
first i open each games in unity to see the libraries they are using
than i delete the In-app purchase and ads libraries
After deleting the libraries, we get errors in codes that uses ads and lAP, so i fix them
than i modify the code to give the in app items to users for free
Than i have to check for all the static variables used in games, because they needs to get reset every time user come back to home page, else, they will get error the next time we play the game
Than i have to create bundle of all the images, sounds and stuffs used in game so that user can download them from our server
I have to make sure that the script names for two different project should not be same under same namespace, so i have written editor script to change all the namespace for the project-specific scripts
Then, i have to check if games are fetching aseets from [login to view URL] method because we will have no resources folder in project, since we are dwonloading the assets from server
i have to fetch the assets from asset bundle.
So if they are not downloaded, download them
Different games uses different physics settings in project settings, so before each game starts, i set the physics settings according to the specific game (like layers, tags, Collision physics etc.)
Games uses DoNotDestroyOnLoad for many objects, But i need to destroy them once user go back to home page. This creates a lot of errors, So i check for them and fix them
