3D Simulation

I am looking to produce a 3D simulation of a worker working a a series of machines. There should be three machines (that can be represented as cubes (or similar) and they should all surround a central table with a computer monitor on it.

The animation should show the man working at his machine and then interfacing with the computer, then moving to the second machine and back to the PC.

This is for a university project to demonstrate how a man may interact with a PC that delivers his work instructions and takes his data input.

The animation can be created in any software package but needs to be outputted in an avi format or similar such that it can be played on any PC with media player.

The powerpoint slide shows a rough layout. Machine 1 could be a lathe, 2 could be a milling machine, then an inspection machine and machine 3 could be a "fixing"area for example.

The animation should have captions to say what is happening at each stage.

The sequence of activities would be:

- Logon to system ("caption")

- Choose part to process ("caption")

- Go to machine 1

- Setup parameters recorded automatically ("caption")

- Process part on machine 1 ("Caption")

- Operation complete at machine 1

- Go to PC

- Record Operation complete on PC ("Caption")

- Go to machine 2

- Setup parameters recorded automatically ("Caption")

- In process variables captured automatically ("Caption")

- Process part on machine 2 ("Caption")

- Go to pc

- Record Operation Complete on PC ("Caption")

- go to inspection machine

- Inspecting part ("Caption")

- Part found to be outside limits ("caption")

- Error recorded, fix part? ("caption")

- Go to PC

- Fix part action entered onto PC ("Caption")

- go to machine 3

- Fixing part ("caption")

- go to inspection machine

- Inspecting part ("caption")

- Part OK ("Caption")

- go to PC

- Record part acceptable ("caption")

- Logoff

## Deliverables

Just to add a comment: I want to try and get bids fairly low for just a concept of this (because I am paying for personally) - i.e. just with very basic animation. If the group likes it then we may want to do futher animations thta are more detailled (out of group budget).

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
