I recently purchased a Windows 8 Phone (Nokia Lumia 520 to be exact). While it's more advanced than the phones I am used to I find its reminder feature to be comparatively clunky and slow to use compared to the features I am accustomed to in older phones.

What I'm looking for is a freelancer to develop an app which generates a reminder in the following way:

--> Allows you to type a date and time using numbers (automatically defaulting to presenting you with a number keypad) rather than having you selecting the date and time by sliding through the possibilities in the normal way that it presents this.

--> Automatically sets the reminder to 'at start time'

--> Automatically sets the 'how long' to '0 Minutes'

--> Allows you to set the reminder to occur daily, monthly or weekly (including on multiple days per week)

--> If possible, sets the default snooze period to 10 minutes.

Basically, I'd like this to operate in the same way as the alarm but for the reminders to be present in the calendar. I assume it could work by automatically generating a normal reminder from a custom interface.

The interface should be pretty simple.

Line 1 - > Subject (a free form text field allowing a few lines for what will be displayed in the reminder)

Line 2 - > Frequency (drop down - once, daily, weekly, monthly or annually - default to once)

Depending on which of the above is selected you should then get different options for the next lines. In the below, the letter between the numbers is the first letter of its corresponding frequency option.

Once

Line 3o1 - > Date (type in the date using a number keypad, using the Australian date format - Automatically apply '/' between each of the two digits entered - default to today's date)

Daily

N/A - No date required - No line 3

Weekly

Line 3w1-3w7 -> Day Required (list all the days of the week and let a tick box indicate if they're required)

Monthly

Line 3m1 -> Day of the month (entered as a number)

Annual

Line 3a1 -> Day/Month (entered as numbers with an automatic slash between them)

All Frequencies:

Line 4 - > Time entered as a series of numbers with colons (:) as needed.

Line 5 -> Buttons to either create or delete the reminder

To make this simpler to visualise, I have attached an Excel file with the different choices set out. If you have macros enabled, you will be presented with a single sheet and can then change the frequency (in cell C3) and see how it changes what the options shown are. If you have macros disabled, you will instead be presented with a different sheet for each of the above frequency options so you can see how they differ.
