One list that will contain Aircraft Information.
One Document Library that will contain the Aircraft files
1. Upon creation of Aircraft record in list, a Folder shall be automatically created in Document library.
2. The Folder naming shall be a taken from data entered in the Aircraft list record. For example, if the first column has data “Boeing” second column has data 737, third column has data “400” the folder name should be “Boeing-737-300-000001” (where 000001 is some unique number)
3. The record in Aircraft list should have one Linked column that will open its Folder from document library.
4. Upon deleting Aircraft record from list, its related folder shall also be deleted automatically from document library.
Columns for Aircraft List:
1. MSN – Unique values
2. Manufacturer – Drop Down
3. Type – TXT
4. Model – TXT
5. YOM – Years only e.g. 1998, 1999 (could be drop down)
6. Business Phase – Drop down
7. Offered for – drop down
8. (We will add further ourselves)
Columns for Aircraft Document Library
Folder Name is enough.
