Overview
A self run,owned and operated start up fashion studio. I am looking for talented, motivated individuals to join me in my well kept bright and sunny atmosphere in Philadelphia. As a seamstress, you will be responsible for sewing garments while maintaining quality standards at all times. You must have an ability to work independently or on multiple projects simultaneously. This position allows for flexibility to work from home should you have required equipment.
Duties
Responsible for the care and maintenance of all garments, including lining, seaming, sewing and trimming. The seamstress will be responsible to ensure that each garment meets or exceeds standards set by the company in accordance with applicable state/local laws as well as federal regulations. They are also responsible for maintaining quality control in the work space as it is a small work environment.
Detailed job duties include:
Sew garments on schedule to exact specifications.
Follow patterns.
Must have the ability and willingness to learn new skills, as well as experience with sewing machines.
Qualification
Demonstrated sewing ability.
Must be 18 years or older.
Able to work in the United States
