I have a product advertizing website. It uses a MySQL db to store product information.
I am participating in the Amazon Associates program and I want to make use of the Product Advertising API to pull products with my associate tracking information and advertize them on my site.
I need a simple interface where I can select to initiate download of products from Amazon and specify from which category I want them downloaded.
The information that needs to be downloaded is: Main image, Title, Price and URL to the product with my affiliate tracking info in it.
After the products are downloaded they need to be inserted into my existing database, so they can show up on my site.
There needs to be also some kind if mechanism to clean discontinued products. Not sure how this can be done programmatically. But the purpose is to not have product links that lead to non-existing or ended listings/products on Amazon.
