Modify Product Page on Shopify

On my product page on shopify, I would like the thumbnail images to only show when that variant is selected. If the variant isn't selected, the images associated with that variant shouldn't show.

Example:

First variant is "BELLA+CANVAS LADIES FAVORITE T-SHIRT". It has 3 thumbnail images. This means the other 6 shouldn't show. Then if you switch to "LADIES LONG SLEEVE COTTON TSHIRT" - only those 2 thumbnail images should show and the rest should not
