Do changes in PHP script (API/SOAP) for prestashop

Our script/api has the following functions:
ProductsUpdate
Orders
StatusUpdate
Order StatusUpdate
ProductUpdate needs change:
- Price changes are not working yet
- Visibility Attribut is not transferred yet
Also it would be better to connect to mysql and get the data there. At the moment its requested by presta web service, which takes too much time.
I think it would be good way to log down all actions of the php script, so we can check which task is taking so much time
