Information
What I need is a system which sends SMS messages to clients with a reminder for an appointment. The appointments and relevant reminders have to be filled in a back end by the clients. Project has 2 parts.
CMS system:
- Clients need to make appointment in a secure environment behind a login field. Each client has a login name and password.
- Clients need to login and logout
- Clients can make their own accounts but they need to be approved by the admin.
- Admin needs to make/edit/delete users
- If users are logged in; they need make/edit/delete appointments.
- For each appointment, there needs to be a telephone number, a starting time/date and an ending time/date.
-There can be set multiple reminders per appointment. (See attachment)
-Those reminders can be set X days/hours/minutes before/after a starting and ending time. (See example). They also have to set a message of the reminder. (See attachment)
- Template/design is already made; see attachment.
- Old appointments with their reminders (e.g. 1 month old) have to move to an archive.
So the CMS needs 3 menu tabs for user: Appointments, reminders and archive.
Twilio integration:
- SMS alerts are send with the application of Twilio ([login to view URL]).
- Every 15 minutes a cronjobs checks if it has to send alerts to clients
Note: Old appointments have to move to an archive so that they are not increasing the load time of the cronjob script.
