Web Backup / Restore

This is one of 14 programs we need (3 a week for 5 weeks). It must be in Delphi 3 or Delphi 5 (not 6, not 7). The starting interface for this project is already done and is included in the zip file. This program will create a backup copy of a website on the local harddrive, and be able to upload/restore it as well. Information such as passwords, ftp address, domain name, etc. will be recorded in a zip file. Program will work in 2 parts for the backup. The user will be given the option to use FTP or Web (http). It will prompt for ID & passwrod OR "skip" whenever protected files are encountered. Backup Part 1: All The directories and files will be listed for review such that the User can "check" any they wish to be skipped or ignored. Backup Part 2: the files and directory structure will be duplicated on the local drive - under the main directory (the main directory name will be the Domain name, like "[url removed, login to view]") A control file will be created that lists all the files, with relative path, and the file chmod permissions (like 755) where possible. Backup Cleanup: using the files copied to the hard drive, all the files HTML and script files will be parsed to identify and create a list of "unused" files - for example, an image file that is not used by any HTML file. The user will have the option to check those files they want deleted, and be able to have those files deleted on the hard drive (in mass) AND be able to have the program delete them on the web site, via ftp. RESTORE will be able to upload the entire site, OR only selected files, to the web via ftp. (ftp must me "smart" enough to located the correct starting directory if the connection puts it in an upper directory). Use of 3rd party components is permitted. The application sounds complicated, but is basically simple ftp client operations.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

## Deadline information

bonus for early delivery. successful bidders will be top contenders for next projects - bidders should be aware I am a software engineer of 28 years. I like systems that work for absolute newbies -example: the program should determine, by using SEVERAL methods and comparing the results of each, if the user is connected to the Internet so the user doesn't have to. I am very price oriented, since I am capable of developing this application myself - I just don't have time.
