I need a small program to help sort out files. The main directory where this will be used is the Windows\system32 directory.
This is the detail box which I am refering to:
By default all microsoft signed files have name, company, version, date, and size. I want to be able to view a list of the files in a selected directory sortable by the different fields in the info box. Preferably a 2 window, column sortable screen. The top window is a column sortable list of all files in the directory. The bottom window is a list of files to be deleted. Multiple selection is a must. Along the top should be a series of 3 check boxes, one for name, company, version. Unchecking a box removes files from the top window that have information in that line.
Finally, I need to be able to delete the files from the bottom list, with an "Are you sure?" requester to prevent accidents. Also, I would like the program to create a batch file to delete all files that I can run from DOS in case the files can't be deleted from within windows.
All deleted files should be added to a .ini file and automatically selected the next time the program is run. Hopefully this last step will save time in the future, because I will likely be choosing the same files a lot, as well as new ones.
Executable style: I will be running the program from a flash drive, so a single executable and .ini file are prefered. I do not need an installer for it.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
