THIS IS FOR AN ADULT / GAY WEBSITE I installed: tracewatch: [url removed, login to view] OpenX: [url removed, login to view] OpenEMM: [url removed, login to view] TraceWatch has a feature to track individual users: [url removed, login to view] I would like to use this feature to track individuals who view ads using openx... This would be done either by putting the TraceWatch php call or javascript call at the top of the banner delivery. We need to know what user we are tracking still (to populate the tracewatch username parameter). I would like to do this via the OpenEMM ( installed in ticket 87697 ) user database. Here is the overall flow: 1. User is displayed a Banner ad that says "Remove ads from this page" (I will make this ad). 2. Banner click takes them to a page where they are instructed to send an email to the subscription address 3. They receive a return email with a verification link... ads them to OpenEMM (if they are new), logs them in, sets a cookie with the username, , and provides the username parameter to TraceWatch. The username should actually be md5(email + secret) for security. The last step is to tell OpenX to not display an ad... We can do this with a ngnix rewrite rule. Rewrting url's based on the presence of a cookie is a ngnix feature: [url removed, login to view] We could add to the end of the banner request via rewrite something like &showad=no . I will setup OpenX to understand what to do with this parameter. To complete the project, we will need: page with logout button and unsubscribe button. login form (user can login again with his md5(email + secret) link he received via email. an admin feature to change the secret and logout all users. Thanks, -Eric
