Hi;

I'm based in the UK and would like people to quote for a custom design e-commerce music sale/download site. I have already registered the domain and chosen my hosting package.

I would like to better this design and also offer online downloads per track or entire album as well as sell Cd's/tapes/books...

formal spec as guidance on what may be required is below:

· Full Bespoke Web Design and Development – Ecommerce

· Music download / purchase

Option to purchase Cd/Tape

Option to download entire album or singles

· Provide in admin panel ability to see how many singles have been downloaded per Artist

· Video section

Ability to pay and download entire videos

· Build section for selling books and other media

I realise that this can be done using the “current” design,

but, I would like this section to be slightly customised with

the theme of “learning, education”

· Ability to listen to music tracks for "20sec"

Best payment method for such sites (music download and

purchase)

Payment methods - paypal and Worldpay and other – for

subscriptions

· Flash Animation

Flash should be used where necessary to enhance user

experience

· Develop ability to allow customers to track order via i.e.

postal services on the site

· Advanced content management system with the ability to update

content, images, products, categories, stock, news letter,

customer lists and more, all from a friendly web interface

This will be our own online charts for all music featured on

our site, visitors can vote for their favourite

songs/artist/albums etc…Weekly and Monthly charts

· Ability to download the TOP 10 from this chart…

· Ability to email customers – Bulk emails for promotions

· Sales Reports using dates etc

This is a box standard feature for any cart, but it should be

specified

· We will also look to allow adverts from other sites as a paid

service, certain sections of the site should be allocated for

adverts. Size etc to be determined.

· Ability to administer” almost” all functionalities for the

site, to be designed for a novice user

· Featured Artists section including Featured Photo section

This section will show brief biography of artist and any

photo’s. Should be administrable from Admin section

· Play artist of the month mp3 on site - Easy feature

· Design a “cool” banner for the site for promotion. We will

put this banner on other sites, flash and non flash.

· Optimised coding for fast site access

· Logo design and branding

· Online website statistics (keep track of visitor statistics)

· Stock control abilities

i.e. any items sold should be reflected on total stock

· Support after project completion

· Search engine optimisation

· Effective “Search” capability using “drop down” category

Similar to how napster works, Devise a effective method of how this should be done.

Please gather as much information as possible from napster and how they operate their subscription options. Devise the easiest and best method for this.

This will allow users to have unlimited access to downloads…

Different Free Player downloads section

Other E-commerce generic features, faq, custom information etc etc should be included as standard. These are general outlines of what required, but will indeed form the basis for this project. Other minor enhancment may be required, suggestions are always welcome. Cant cover everything I'm afraid!

Will only work through Escrow payment system.

After agreement with "a" bidder, the bid value will be deposited into the escrow account visible to both parties.

Upon project completion and testing, the entire amount will be released for the settlement of the project.

I will not work with anyone requiring a deposit of any percentage as the escrow system gives enough security for both parties.
