Polls And Voting.

This website is all about giving the user a way of making a poll about anything and being able to paste a html, java code on any other website to display the poll for people to vote. The website name will be displayed in the footer of the poll. The user will be able to deisgn the looks of the poll, colours, fonts and size. The user can choose up to 20 results per poll. Results will be displayed after the user votes or they can click to view the results without voting. The results will show up on the poll within the code, ajax will be good.

Users do not need to register to create a poll and retrieve the code to use the poll on their websites. Users can, however, register for free to have access to a members area where they can save their polls and results for free. They can also retreive poll codes from any previous poll and create new polls that will be recorded in their "previous polls" page.

To register, users can create an account or login with Facebook.

The website has to be 100% compatible with Facebook for viral purposes. I want to Facebook users to see the poll on a friends wall or the main wall and see the questions with voting options. When they move the cursor over an option, it will change colour. This will make the user click the answer and after they click, they will get the option to add the poll app to their Facebook account where they can create polls within Facebook. Each Facebook poll will have a link back to the homepage of the website outside of Facebook.

The homepage will be Adsense friendly showing only polls allowed through admin. In the admin panel, there will be an option to add a poll to "Latest polls" and "Popular polls" to the homepage. Polls will be listed in admin with the opton to delete and ban users who create polls not allowed, such as racist or illegal polls. The polls in admin will be listed in order of creation or popularity. There should also be a "Report poll" option on all polls so that a user can report an abusive poll to the admin panel under the "Reported polls" list. Banning will be by username or (and) user IP.

All pages have to be SEO friendly and polls should also be search engine friendly, pulling the title, description and keywords from the poll info created by the user, automatically.

This is an amazing project to get involved with, I have the domain ready to make it top in most search engines without much SEO. The project needs to be built first before it will make money, after this, the accepted project leader will have the job of maintaining the website which, if successful, will be worth a very good income to the developer.

I would like to have the main website built first so that users will be able to create polls and paste the code on their websites. There will be the Facebook login and the option to post the link to the poll onto their wall. This will be ok for the first part of the project, the second part will be the Facebook development, where the poll will show up on the wall and the Facebook user can create polls and share through the Facebook app.

Part one = Website, ability to create polls, ability to login with Facebook, ability to access the members area to view previous polls etc, Adsense friendly homepage, banning, recent polls, popular polls, report poll, link back, admin panel, SEO friendly.

Part two = developing the Facebook app to show the poll on walls with a vote option and the completed app that allows users to create and share polls within Facebook.
