Photoshop Image Editing Project
We have an online store with awards – acrylic, metal, glass, crystal, plastic, and wood to name a few examples of items we carry.
We photograph our product images and would like to establish an ongoing relationship with a professional digital image editing designer to convert raw images into web-ready graphics.
This is an open bid for up to 100 individual photos of products from various angles. Attached is an example of a photo we would need to have edited – background removed and photo retouched.
Raw images will be provided in .jpg format. Consultant is expected to make available FTP, Dropbox, or similar facility for uploading batches of raw images.
The deliverables will be finished photoshop .psd files readable by Photoshop CS6 AND web-ready .jpg.
Delivery turnaround is three (3) business days following the delivery of each batch of images to be produced.
Details
These photos are taken against a white, red, or black backdrop depending on the item.
Images will be provided to you in .jpg format.
For each image, you will:
- Create a .psd file of the raw image
- Use Photoshop auto-adjust to adjust the image brightness and contrast.
- Trim out the background, retouch any blemishes (evidence of flash)
- Save the completed .psd file in the original image resolution, with all layers intact. Do NOT resize the .psd file.
- Also save the completed file as a web-ready .jpeg
PROJECT COMMUNICATION: All project communications will occur in writing via email, using Freelancer. We expect timely responses to our inquiries.
TIMELINE / MILESTONES:
We will delivery image batches on an irregular schedule and communicate to the consultant each time a new batch (or set of batches) is uploaded. We will make payment at the agreed-upon rate upon completion of each group of batches.
TURNAROUND TIME
The consultant is expected to deliver finished images within three (3) business days of our uploading them. For instance, images uploaded on Monday will be due back on Thursday. Images uploaded on Friday will be due back on the upcoming Wednesday.
PRODUCTION RATE
It is agreed that the maximum number of images expected to be produced within a one-week period is 50 images.
QUOTATION / PROJECT EXTENSION
Please quote this job as a fixed price for 500 images, and we will calculate a per-image price from that fixed price. If the consultant performs well, additional images will be added to the project, which will be priced at the same per-image price agreed to in the original bid.
