I have an Ubuntu VPS with a Traccar server ([login to view URL]) running for positioning services of my customers.
The Traccar server is doing Geolocation requests to Google through API when devices collect LBS data (Cell towers and WiFi networks). Traccar has no option to filter this requests, only on/off and type (Google and others)
As much of these requests are not needed but Google invoices for them, what I want to develope a INTERMEDIATE BALANCER & FILTER to decraease the number of request to Google.
Main functions of this FILTER:
1- Filter LBS (Cell Towers) requests. Only WIFI request should be asked to Google, and answered to Traccar server
2.- Balance WIFI requests to Google into different Google accounts/API KEYs
3.- Store locally (mySQL) most frequent requests to Google, so not needed to ask for them again
4.- Logs
Should be written in nodeJS or equivalent
